Debut author Wild-Palmer signs with Pushkin Children’sPublished January 25, 2018 by Charlotte Eyre Pushkin Children’s Books has acquired a debut novel by Nadine Wild-Palmer. The Tunnels Below is a middle-grade novel set in an underground world where the inhabitants have the bodies of humans and the heads of animals. Wild-Palmer, a singer, songwriter and Channel 4 continuity announcer, started writing the story a decade ago. She said: “I started writing at a very young age and have always loved imagining and creating new worlds, characters and storylines.” Sarah Odedina, Pushkin Children’s editor-at-large bought world rights directly from the author and will publish in spring 2019.
